The 2019 Indian film titled Total Dhamaal is an adventure comedy that is written and directed by Indra Kumar. It loosely based on the 1963 film It’s a Mad Mad, Mad, Mad World. The movie is a part of the Dhamaal franchise, which is produced by Markand Adhikari, Ffilms, Fox Star Studios, Pen India, and Mangal Murti Films.
The film features an ensemble cast of actors including Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, and Jaaved Jaafery. It also features supporting actors such as Johnny Lever, Boman Irani, Pitobash Tripathy, and Sonakshi Sinha in a special appearance. The trio of Jaaferi, Warsi, and Deshmukh was a part of the previous two movies. However, after Sanjay Dutt exited the project, Boman Irani replaced him.
The film released on February 22, 2019, and collected around 230 million. It had a budget of 100 million. The movie was generally praised for its performances and humor, but it was criticized for its second half.
Before 21st Century Fox was acquired by Disney, Fox Star Studios released this movie. It was the last film that the company released before the acquisition.
